Drawning / painting course, in english or french, by professional artist
Our painting atelier is open for all, beginners and advanced alike. These personalized courses allow each person to work at their own rythm, and to choose the subjects and materials that suit them, in oils, acrylics.
Our teaching is concentrated on different painting techniques, the various procedures, specially on composition and pictoral construction adapted to the subject matter and personnal style. The study of great masters occupies a major place of our teaching method, notably Matisse, Bonnard, etc.
About a quarter of our student are Anglophones, with whom we conduct the courses in english. And with the Francophones in french of course.
Parallel to the painting atelier we visit, once a month, in group, one of the major museums in Paris; the Louvre, or more often, the musée d'Orsay. The visits, to study on the spot the paintings of great masters, take place the first sunday of every month. The entrance is free.
The interest and artistic enthousiasm generated by these events, add considerably to the pleasures of creativity, necessary to the practice of the art of painting.
